This assignment is to design a typography poster with the title of 1 Malaysia. I choose festival theme on 1 malaysia concept for this poster design.
This is the 1st design that I had done. The text is: Multiracial multireligion living harmony, 1 country 1 nation as 1 family. I think it was quite nice, but later on , I relies that this poster is too 'image' and didn't feel typography at all. So, i plan to redesign again with those image that i use on top.

This design looks more typography. As I choose festival as my theme, i need to put at lease 3 image that represent the unite in Malaysia.
* Mosque --> Malay race* Hindu dance -->Indian race* Lion dance --> Chinese race
Then I choose a light and litter dull color as background color because I do not want the color of the background too bright. I want the typography stand out and can be read clearly by everyone.
Indeed show improvement. Straighten the "1". You need to learn to use Lines & Grids to make a proper layout for your poster.
